I wrote an article some months ago about the strategy and benefits of using Liferay on Openshift over Amazon Public Cloud.
I've recommend to read this info in order to have a better picture about this kind of installations / solutions over Docker Containers
It is based on Liferay DXP using LCS services over Openshift v3.4
