User loses assigned organizations after editing of user account

Hello everyone,
I have encountered a weird issue when editing user account. After I save the changes, the user loses all assigned organizations that are not displayed in the "Organizations" tab. So if the user has 23 organizations assigned and 3 are displayed on a page, after changing and saving any of the fields only 3 of them will remain.
Has anyone experienced the same issue and if so could you provide the solution?
