Overriding jsp file in an OOTB module not taking into effect?

I have overridden the login module com.liferay.login.web. But the overridden file is not taking effect. The liferay version is 7 ee ga1. Moreover when I change the core jsp file in the Liferay_Home/osgi/marketplace, the effects are not taking place. I am following this tutorial. Please tell me what might be going wrong. Thanx in advance

I have found an alternative of overriding jsp file. I copied the jar file from osgi/marketplace, did necessary changes and moved it to the deploy folder of server. Changes are getting reflected but there is another problem that how to undo the changes done. Please help...thanx in advance..
