Dears,

I want to know that when the users private/public page will create in liferay? while user creating time or while user login first time? please let me know.

Thanks for your reply.

I have list of existing users with one private page which is generated by user group template.

if i have updated user group template and started working fine for new users private pages. For old users private pages still has old template. To take effect for existing user as well, i will delete the private pages for exiting users and un assign from user group. Then i will update user_ login date as null. then i will assign the user group to users.

After this, if user login, will user get private pages with updated template? is my above approach correct?

No, when you create the user, you should choose the "Enable propagation of changes from site template" option. This way, when you made any changes to the template, it will automatically be reflected in user's private page.
