----

Hi all, the April meeting was awesome.

I enjoyed how you all use Liferay too; from the presentations to the side talks; and I'd like if we meet up again soon.

Some ideas gathered for next meeting:
  • Adaptive Display Templates by Tiggi
  • Authentication Pipeline and Use Case - "Liferay in the Security Lane"
  • Liferay Screens and Mobile App by Bijan
  • Liferay 7 and OSGi shell
  • Ad-hoc chit-chat with all the attendees - how did you get involved with Liferay work? what are you doing with Liferay right now? just dynamic... etc. etc.
  • Liferay Test Cases using PowerMock
  • Dynamic Data Lists, Structures, Templates (and form Templates if folks interested)

It's been about 2 months since we last met; so please reply if you're interested.

--- updated to add another topic - PowerMock
--- updated to add another topic - Dynamic Data Lists
--- updated to add the date and time as well as the tentative Agenda

I was wondering about the next meeting earlier this week!
Seems you want a more technical focus this time which is fine by me, were you thinking of alternating business/technical?

Of the items mentioned I would prioritize them (purely for personal benefit) as:

a) Authentication pipeline and use case
b) Liferay Screens (I assume practical how to build apps?)
c) Application Display Templates
d) PowerMock?
e) 7 and OSGi shell - I would wait until after the liferay symposium and may be release?

I always like networking chit chat so that should be happening all the time (initial introductions, if we break to get food, at end?
I am assuming that probably only 2 or 3 of these items would be on the agenda this time?

Hello Dave!
...were you thinking of alternating business/technical?

Yes, definitely technical next time; based on feedback, we'll see about third one.

Thanks for prioritization feedback.

Liferay Screens (I assume practical how to build apps?)

Yes, especially on Android; it's free. Otherwise on Apple need Dev license.

7 and OSGi shell - I would wait until after the liferay symposium and may be release?

The milestones have come a long way so far; plus it's good way to weigh in on it now; so can shape 7's outcome in small ways.

Would Thursday June 25th work for you? It would be right before the holiday; otherwise we can do in July too.
