Activity Feed and Comment Portlet

Hi Julio,

If I want that people can interact with each other on Liferay just like on facebook and if I want that activities displayed on facebook about my friends is also displayed on Liferay, will it then be possible with social plugins by facebook to get the job done? Does everybody, who wants his activities displayed in the facebook integration activity portlet, have to create a facebook app and get an app_id and appsecret to display his activites on his Liferay personal site?

you only need the facebook page url, give it a try and let us know how it works for you.

Oh, I see what you mean, facebook has updated this plugin. In the past you didn't need an app, just a url to the facebook page was fine.

If you don't have a facebook app, maybe you just need the Like Box plugin (which displays the info from your facebook page). +

Do you think it is possible to create the app using just the API?
