encountered inconsistencies on the server when i try to restart the Jboss 7.1.1 server

My guess would be incorrect file permissions. Make sure the java process can read and write to any folder under /opt/liferay

I deploy the license.xml to deploy folder, locally it is working but it is not working on the Cloud server,

Here are the steps I did

1. Copy the bundle Liferay+Jboss to /opt (cloud server)
2. Configure the Standalone.xml to connect to MySQL db , It did created all the tables for me
3. Configure the module.xml and the mysql.jar inside / liferay-home / jboss / modules / com / mysql / main
- I did this because the one on com / liferay / main was not working on my local

4. Configure portal-ext.properties
5 . start the JBoss Server and launch the hostname https://hostname/

and all i get is the liferay license page

https://hostname/c/portal/license

without CSS at all
saying >>>> There are no licenses registered.

I tried to get a trial EE lciense as well from the download page but to no avail

Did you put your license.xml file in /liferay.home/deploy folder?

I think you may have put it in the /liferay.home/data/license folder which it does not belong. After it is deployed, it will create a xxx.li file in the /liferay.home/data/license folder.

So try this:
-clearing anything inside the /liferay.home/data/license folder
-put the license.xml file in /liferay.home/deploy
-restart

Thanks Amos the license is now registered but

here is what happened

No setter on Job class com.liferay.portal.scheduler.job.MessageSenderJob for property 'MESSAGE'
13:33:18,606 WARN [org.quartz.simpl.PropertySettingJobFactory] (MemoryQuartzSchedulerEngineInstance_QuartzSchedulerThread) No setter on Job class com.liferay.portal.scheduler.job.MessageSenderJob for property 'STORAGE_TYPE'
13:33:18,607 WARN [org.quartz.simpl.PropertySettingJobFactory] (MemoryQuartzSchedulerEngineInstance_QuartzSchedulerThread) No setter on Job class com.liferay.portal.scheduler.job.MessageSenderJob for property 'DESCRIPTION'
13:33:18,607 WARN [org.quartz.simpl.PropertySettingJobFactory] (MemoryQuartzSchedulerEngineInstance_QuartzSchedulerThread) No setter on Job class com.liferay.portal.scheduler.job.MessageSenderJob for property 'DESTINATION_NAME'
13:33:18,613 WARN [org.quartz.simpl.PropertySettingJobFactory] (MemoryQuartzSchedulerEngineInstance_QuartzSchedulerThread) No setter on Job class com.liferay.portal.scheduler.job.MessageSenderJob for property 'JOB_STATE'

After fresh deployment to the Cloud server , I was freezed out to Basic Confirguration Page and nothing is happening even if I click the Finish Configuration

Then I saw to the forum to set the portal-ext.properties setup.wizard.enabled=false to get rid of the basic configuration page

Indeed it passed to the Welcome page of Liferay but I could not Sign In whenever I click to the Sign In Button I am redirected to the Localhost URL and not to my https://hostname.com

any ideas on this?

Glad you got your license issue resolved.

I'm not too sure about the other issue, maybe related to a virtual hosts setting. You should create a new thread so the issue is more visible.
