Marked as SPAM?????

Hi,

I tried to post a question to the forum last night ad it said it was denied because it had been marked as SPAM....

Can someone tell me why that would have happened and how long it might take for an admin to take a look and realize it is not spam?

Hi Bob,

We use Akismet to detect spam and they must have thought your post was spam. Generally the admins will check every day to see if there are false positives. Hopefully it should be learning and less legitimate posts are marked as spam. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Also when you reach a post threshold of 50, you should be whitelisted after that.

Like Amos said, you don't have 50 posts yet and I think it may have picked up on word "Cyrillic" because we had several spams containing that word. Your post is there now. :-)
