Can somebody confirm that the generation of friendly URLs by using the routes.xml is not working in Liferay 7.3.2?
I followed this description for implementing friendly URLs:

This is not working for me.
I tried all variations of patterns, instanceable vs. not instanceable portlet, mvcPath vs. mvcRenderCommandName but a friendly URL was never generated.
I also tested with the blogs application. It is also configured to generate friendly URLs for the blogs title but does not.
I already filed an issue for this:

Last hope: maybe there's some kind of switch I don't know of, that must be switched on to enable friendly URLs.
