Problem in a dropdown

Hi everybody.
I've been working with a website which works perfeclty on Google Chrome. When I tried to access to this website on Internet Explorer or Edge, the page display was wrong, I added this html tag on the theme and rigth now I see the in the suitable way: <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=edge">
Now I see the pages like I should to see in Chrome, about the display everything is okey. But, when I'm in staging and I try to publish a document, the blue cross dropdown that create a new document doesn't work. Literally the dropdown doesn't drop nothing in IE or Edge (in chrome works perfeclty). How can I resolve this problem? Can I add some tags to skip this like the display problem?
