I would add to the people that ask for "user functionalities customization" out of the box. Often our customers requires:
- to remove the control menu bar for non administrative users easily
- to have the "toggle controls" button even on desktop display size (for users that have the administration role but would use the portal switching to a "non administrative mode (to avoid accidental changes)"
- for non "administrative users" have a customized version of user profile (Account Settings) (e.g. by default the "Account Settings" is shown with Liferay administrative theme and it allows the user to show and change all fields like the username. Is there a way to easily customize Account Settings?). It would be desiderable an easy way to hide fields or part of selectors like "Contacts" and Preferences. In addition, always in the "user functionalites" customers would like Notifications as widget (manageable like other portlets with the possibility to drag and drop it in the page layout content area).

I'm wondering whether on Liferay 7.2 there are such possibilities and if already exist documentation how to achieve such customizations in the right way.
