How to configure a downloaded theme?

Hello friends,
After digging a little in the backend of liferay, now i'm trying the portal to see the potencial of LR "without coding".

Well, for what I have seen its actually pretty cool, and it has a lot of functionalities that can be implemented without touching a line of code, I was like "wow wtf!!"
well that aside...

What I wanted to know is how do I add / edit some theme header/footer... for example, I downloaded the theme: "Elegant Ecommerce Theme" from the Liferay Marketplace, intalled it using the app manager in the portal, and I wanted to change the images from the caurosel, but int the page->configure home page where i can give the theme the 4 links for the carousel image slide. (it appears like 1 image in the hearder, and it slides to the next after  x seconds, can also click to pass to next), but the image cant be uploaded, and if i insert a link image it will but the layout... the image doest appear correctly. it says it is configurable in the marketplace, but can it be configurable in the portal?

could it be that the theme is bugged? i'm also having a problem, everytime that i go to the localhost it appears the home page with the theme, but i cant logout, i cant do anything, cant even see the configuration menu, i can just the the page....

thanks

I didn't actually download the theme from Marketplace, but it does seem like you correctly found the configuration page for the theme. So this probably is a bug like you said. Since this theme wasn't published by Liferay, you should contact the theme's developer for help on this bug - look for the "Support" link on the theme's page.

Thanks for the answer, I will check that, do you know how can I log in with the admin? because thanks to the theme I dont have access to my controll panel, when I go to localhost the page is loaded like I'm a guest, and the option "logout" doesnt work, nor I can login to be a admin.

i really need help, because i cant do nothing like this. i dont have access to anything

Uninstall the theme. Then it should fallback to the default theme.
(Delete it from the <liferay>/osgi/wars folder)
