Asset publisher not displaying news(web content)

Hi team.
We are presently using an application of Liferay6.2 running on tomcat 7.0.42.In that application we used asset publisher portlet to display the news.From past few days we are unable to see news under asset publisher portlet and we are getting a message from front end as 'No results found'.Our application is hosted on two app servers and we tried 'reindexing all search indexes'on individual app servers but news is still not displaying in asset publisher portlet.

We request your suggestions for this issue at priority so that it will be very grateful from your end.

Just a guess. If you're using web content for your news, has the web content expired?

Hi Rupal Phatak,

You can verify your index status using my portlet Index Checker

Try also activating debug traces from Control Panel and double check that lucene/solr query is ok and returns the results in case of executing it directly in the index

Hi All ,

We are facing the same issue, I have done re indexing for both application servers but still news are not publishing .I have clear database cache from liferay .
I wait for 30 minute still news are not publishing in asset publisher portlet .
I have check the index and both application server index level is same .
Could you please help us for fixing this issue .

Which Liferay version do you use?
Do you find your news in the search? (Searchportlet)

Can you place the news manually on a page? (Webcontent Display + manual selection of the content)
Please check the display date setting. Is it in the past?
If it appears, but "later than expected":
Please check the time on the server. Maybe the server time is "off".
Please check the startup parameters of the server. -Duser.timezone=GMT has to be set as a JVM parameter.

Hi ,

thanks for response .
Currently we are working on liferay 6.2 .
Application is working in production fine but sometime news from asset publisher are stop displying .
When i did indexing and clear cache from liferay control pannel then after some time news appers .
nothing related to this issue printing in logs .
