liferay.workspace.product = portal-7.4-ga31

Experience Building

Refactor how Page Editor styles are provisioned to fragments

In order to have a more scalable fragments baseline, we have evolved how styles added to fragments in the Page Editor add added to the page, moving them to specific CSS classes instead of adding them inline.
In addition to this, we have created a new data-lfr-styles attribute, that allows fragment developers to decide which HTML element inside a fragment will have the Page Editor styles applied.
https://issues.liferay.com/browse/LPS-132571

Full styles customization per viewport in the Page Editor

Finally, page creators can edit all the styles of a Fragment for all viewports from the Page Editor, enabling a much easier way to design mobile experiences.

Permissions to better manage styling capabilities across roles

With this new feature, we provide clients with a way to restrict style customization capabilities for specific roles, so that they can better control the level os styles customization ensure consistent and homogeneous look & feel and branding in an easier way.

Basic, limited and full styles edition permissions for Content Pages edition are available now, as well as a permission to provide access to the advanced options tab for fragments edition in the Page Editor.
