Joseph Toman 8 Years Ago Matti, I recently walked through the Vaadin and Spring Boot tutorial over on vaadin.com . It certainly removed a lot of ceremony and complexity in starting a Vaadin project. I'm wondering if this will be extended to Vaadin portlets, or if the extra bit needed is just a few deployment descriptors. Please sign in to reply. Reply as... So you'll still need e.g. portlet.xml etc., but it simplifies the code you need to configure Spring Data a LOT. I don't know Portlet spec and Liferay internals well enough to say if there is something we could do to simplify project setup, but I can ask from our portal expert Henri Sara who is actually part of the portlet 3 JSR expert group.cheers, matti Please sign in to reply.
