Cancel Nate Cavanaugh Russell Wong 13 Years Ago Hi Russel, do you have any more details on this? For instance, what browser you're seeing the performance drop in, and is the performance drop one of memory, or of execution?I've tried adding the date picker field into a portlet, and performance stays the same in IE8 (and Firefox, Chrome, etc), but I'm wondering if this is maybe some other component on the page where the date picker object happens to be, or if you've confirmed it down to a consistent pattern of just adding that object. If you could file a ticket for this with details and post the ticket number here, that would be even better. Thanks Russell! Martin Kofoed 13 Years Ago Anybody else experiencing Xerces oddities on glassfish when it attempts deploying liferay-portal.war? I see stuff like this in my logs:[#|2010-07-24T21:23:25.054+0000|SEVERE|glassfishv3.0|javax.enterprise.system.core.org.glassfish.internal.data|_ThreadID=26;_ThreadName=Thread-1;|Exception while invoking class com.sun.enterprise.web.WebApplication start methodjava.lang.Exception: java.lang.IllegalStateException: ContainerBase.addChild: start: org.apache.catalina.LifecycleException: com.sun.faces.config.ConfigurationException: CONFIGURATION FAILED! DTD factory class org.apache.xerces.impl.dv.dtd.DTDDVFactoryImpl does not extend from DTDDVFactory.I suspect it's due to classloader issues? But since it occurs on server startup, it effectively renders the Glassfish-bundle useless out-of-the-box, so perhaps it was worth looking into. I also tried to manually deploy liferay-portal.war with the same result. I'm running Java 1.6.0_20 on 32 bit Linux. Please sign in to reply. Reply as... Cancel
JJ Johnson 13 Years Ago Fantastic work! We're no longer seeing the gigantic stack traces popping up for "Current URL /server-status?auto generates exception: null" when using Tomcat with ajp_proxy. Our catalina.out thanks you! Please sign in to reply. Reply as... Cancel
