Today is my last day working at Liferay as a full time employee. On 1st September I will start working at CENATIC, National Reference Centre for the Application of Open Source Information and Communication Technologies.

It has been a pleasure to work with all of you at Liferay. Being involved in free software projects for more than ten years, I have found that Liferay is a very mature open source projects, with a strong position about pushing the FLOSS development model and with a very valuable product and community. Also, the business models around Liferay are working, with a great staff full of very talented people. It is a pity for me to leave the project as a full time position (I am sure I will continue as a supporter of this project) but in Spain we need to push free software more and more, and CENATIC is the place to be to do it with resources and with a strong dissemination opportunies in all regions. I will start working in certification (hardware, software, people and companies) and training around free software.

The Liferay Spain company is growing on September and  I hope it get consolidated to support all the Liferay market and community is appearing in our country. And also the Public Administrations and companies that are already using Liferay.

Liferay is a very mature software product (¡and it is free software!) that is a perfect solution for portals in Internet. I will get Liferay in my bag of "high recommended products".
