How to Add the Mail Portlet

With Liferay 5.1, we introduced a new Mail Portlet.  Here are instructions on how to add it

Start by getting to the "Plugins Installer".  You'll see that the Mail Portlet is one of the options.

 

Select the latest version of the Mail Portlet and click "Install".

 

The Mail Portlet will start to install and you will see a message that it has installed successfully.

 

Add it to a page

 

You'll see that your Tomcat console has the Mail Portlet install logs.

 

Start using it!

Bit late but this does not seem to work for me.

Mail-portlet roles over with the error of java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: com.liferay.portal.kernel.messaging.MessageBusUtil.sendMessage(Ljava/lang/String;Ljava/lang/String;)V

Ideas?

Sorry, I didn't see the comment until now. Download the latest 5.2.3 and the mail portlet is already part of the bundle. No need to install.

Hi All,

I have configured gmail account in the Mail Portlet.

The portlet is fine with sending mail feature.

I would like to know, how I can send email to multiple email IDs.

When I try to separate email IDs by semicolon or comma it shows up the error message "Please make sure the following address is properly formatted."

My Query:
I would like to know how we can send emails to multiple email IDs.
