Julie Southworth 9 Years Ago Has anyone tried this where the "different database" has a sequence field? Our Liferay database is a version of SQL server that doesn't have sequences and our other database is Oracle which does allow sequences. When we try to use the Oracle data source we get an error message that sequences are not allowed. I am guessing that it is checking the rules of the Liferay database and not the Oracle (other) database but I am not sure where this is happening. Please sign in to reply. Reply as... I'm not clear where to add those lines shown in step 3.If it is for portal.properties, than I'm not able to find the location of portal.porperties , I'm using liferay 7 with ant build bundled with tomcat. Help would be greatly appreciated. Please sign in to reply. Reply as... Cancel
