As far as I know about Liferay Portal

I am not common for you here. So I think I need to explain who am I and why I am here. :

First question: I have seen that you provide an android app, and based on the screenshots it seems to be a view to the responsive website. I am very interested in this: how did you implemented this app? Why did you choose this strategy? What could Liferay have done to make your life easier developing that app?
