How to upgrade from liferay 6.2 Community Edition to 6.2 Enterprise Edition

We have developed the application in 6.2 Community Edition and used so many days. Now we want to upgrade to 6.2 Enterprise Edition.
Here how to upgrade database, content and plugins to Enterprise Edition and what is the impact on upgrade.
Can anyone help me with detailed steps ?

Hi Venkat,

Migrate from CE to EE is like another upgrade. Once you have the license for EE you just need to follow this procedure:
- For the database:
https://dev.liferay.com/de/discover/deployment/-/knowledge_base/7-0/upgrading-to-liferay-7

For the developments:
https://dev.liferay.com/de/develop/tutorials/-/knowledge_base/7-0/from-liferay-6-to-liferay-7

So database upgradation is a straightforward upgradation. But plugins again we need to rebuild and redeploy it right?.

Hi Venkat,

I think I misunderstood you.

Now I realized that you want to upgrade from 6.2 CE to 6.2 EE. Then it's even easier:
- For the database:
There are not schema changes between them, you only need to startup your 6.2 EE version against your 6.2 CE database. Please, test it in a test environment and always do a backup (database and document library file system). You will need to regenerate search indexes at the end.

- For developments:
Yes, rebuild them and deploy them.
