I would like to submit the following bug report:
Giving a role the permission to subscribe to a specific web content
folder does not seem to work.
Steps to reproduce
- Create a new role
- Create a new user and assign it to the role created before
- Create a web content folder
- Change the permissions of that folder and give the role above the
permission "subscribe"
- Log in as the user created before
Expected behaviour
- When opening the web content folder the user should see the
"bell" icon in the info sidebar
Actual behaviour
- There is no bell icon in the info sidebar
Has been tested on Liferay 7.4.3.92 GA92.
Additional Information: The problem does not occur in documents &
media. Assigning the "subscribe" permission on a document
& media folder shows the "bell" icon for the user above.
