RE: Calendar portlet does not show up in the list of widgets in Liferay DXP 7.2
We have a Liferay DXP 7.2 installation, and we've noticed that the Calendar portlet on pages does not show up anymore. The message on the screen states: 'This portlet could not be found. Please redeploy it or remove it from the page.' Additionally, the Calendar portlet is not listed among the widgets available for adding to the page or on the assets selection list.
The App Manager and Gogo shell show that the Calendar portlet is installed and active.
No errors in the logs or on the browser console.
dm wtf gives the following error
The following service(s) are missing: * com.liferay.portal.kernel.model.Release (&(release.bundle.symbolic.name=com.liferay.calendar.service)(&(release.schema.version>=4.1.0)(!(release.schema.version>=5.0.0)))(|(!(release.state=*))(release.state=0))) for bundle com.liferay.calendar.service
Any help in resolving this problem is really appreciated.
Did you update something recently (which might have gone wrong)?
Anyway, as you're on DXP: Have you opened a support ticket already?
Yes, I have. But i alreday figured out taht the reason for the Calnedar to dissapear was the presence of records with non-exiting user ids in the calendar related tabled.
Do you know any Lifeary API calls that I can use to manipulate calendar entries? My portal is Liferay DXP 7.2.
