Liferay CE, out of the box, only runs on the Open Source
infrastructure components (Appserver & Database). Antonio has
provided community plugins in the past for Oracle & Sql Server,
but I haven't seen it yet for 7.4 - you might give him a hand and help
upgrading it.
DXP 7.4 isn't out yet. Check the rolling
release announcement, which is still current. The compatibility
matrix will be out once that version is out.

7.4.1 GA2 but for the moment that library does not work with latest
7.4.2 GA3.
