RE: Unable to update the web content template from public IP
Hi,
I am using the liferay 7.1.2 CE version.
In my application I am using the web content structure and template to display the data in desired format.
I am facing the issue after adding the public IP and domain name to my server.
I can update the webcontent template from private IP after connecting the VPN. But when i tried to update the webcontent template from public ip or domain name.
I am getting the message "User 20139 is not allowed to access URL http://domainname/group/sco/~/control_panel/manage and portlet com_liferay_dynamic_data_mapping_web_portlet_DDMPortlet". However I can see the content of webcontent template.
I have also configured the public ip and domain name for
redirect.url.ips.allowed=127.0.0.1,SERVER_IP,5.195.0.1
redirect.url.domains.allowed=*.mydomain.com
redirect.url.security.mode=domain
Please let me what is causing the issue and how can I resolved it.
Thanks
-Amit

I think we need some more information. I don't think it's related to liferay but a server configuration issue.
Is there a webserver in front of liferay at mydomain.com (that maybe you're not hitting when accessing the private IP directly)?
Are you accessing liferay and signing in from mydomain.com via browser?
When you try updating from mydomain.com, what happens?
