Too many notifications for web content folder subscriptions
Hello,
we are using the subscription functionality for web content folders. When someone adds or updates a new web content, subscribed user should get a notification.
Sometimes it happens that a user gets too many notification for one web content. In our case someone updated a web content and the users got about 600 e-mails, all pointing to the same web content.
Is that a known problem? There is nothing to see in the log file, no errors or similar. It does not happen for all articles, it seems that it happens more often for web contents which have a lot of versions.
We are using Liferay 7.0.3 GA 4.
Regards,
Dominik

I don't follow the issue tracker, but you might want to check issues.liferay.com with some keywords... Alternatively, see if you can reproduce this behavior on 7.0.6 GA7, which came out a full year after GA4 and is the last available in the 7.0.x CE series.
