Hello,

 

i´am testing the new Liferay Commerce. I installed Liferay 7.1ga2 and deployed Liferay Commerce.lpkg. I also used the Breccia Accelerator and there everthing looks good.

Then I tried to set up my own shop. I created a Product and displayed it with the Product Publisher Widget on a Page. I can see it as an Adminstrator. But when I logged out the Product isn´t displayed on the Page. I think I have tried everthing related to Permissions, but with no success.

Have anyone a clue?

Hi Dieter

 

Did you follow all the steps in the readme file?

 

  1. When the build is complete, run a full reindex of all search indexes. Go to--or refresh-- http://localhost:8080 in your browser. In the left-hand menu, go to Control Panel → Configuration → Search and click Execute next to Reindex all search indexes.

 

Permissions in commerce to decide the visibility of the products are based using Catalog Rules: https://dev.liferay.com/web/commerce/documentation/-/knowledge_base/1-0/catalog-rules

thanks a lot for the advice. I configured the Catalog Rules and now the Products are also displayed for Guest Users.
