DSL queries can be used instead of hand coded finders to write Java code that looks like SQL. Since they are objects, parsing and rewriting DSL queries is much safer than query strings. DSL queries prevent vendor specific syntax, enforce type safety, reduce syntax errors, and improve code readability.
