On *nix systems there is no output in console window as all logs are stored in catalina.out emoticon

Once I demonstrated Liferay to developers worked with Sharepoint on a fly from Moscow to Saint-Petersburg. They was surprised when I was able to run it on my laptop in 5 minutes on 'раз-два-три' - after it I've decided to make such page on the site.

A quick tip, when you run Liferay on a *nix system, you can always use "./catalina.sh run". That will start up Liferay and print out a log as well rather than using a tail.
