Thanks for your positive feedback

I would recommend that you split up the book to chapters. Author each chapter as a SCORM package (2004 4th edition recommended). After this you can load the course to Valamis and track how the users are reading. If you're using commercial authoring tool, you can use it to implement the assessments or you can use Valamis Quiz / Question management to do the same.

I am planning to put my complete eBook on Liferay onto a LMS system. Will Valamis be a good fit for that? How much time will it take to put all the contents of the book there? It has 14 chapters and running close to 400 pages. I want assessments at the end of each section inside a chapter.
