This way the user manager can only update these organization users but can't give them the administrator role.

Thanks againRicardo Vieira2017-07-05T16:25:02ZRE: User Manager RoleAndrew Jardinehttps://liferay.dev/en/c/message_boards/find_message?p_l_id=119785333&messageId=914525262017-07-05T13:08:22Z2017-07-05T13:08:22ZHi Richard,

Out of the box I have never come across a way to do what you are trying to do.

I don't know that you need to create a whole portlet for it. It's probably enough to hook the JSP that is used in the admin and add the logic to check to make sure that the user has the Administrator role before adding it to the list of options. You might even be able to do that using a service wrapper so that any time roles are pulled from the database, the Administrator role is removed (unless you have it already).Andrew Jardine2017-07-05T13:08:22ZUser Manager RoleRicardo Vieirahttps://liferay.dev/en/c/message_boards/find_message?p_l_id=119785333&messageId=914475202017-07-05T10:59:43Z2017-07-05T10:59:43ZHi,

I'm trying to create a role just to manage users, (create/delete/add and remove role) it must be a regular role, can't use organization roles.

I created it, and when I access with it to control panel I only have access to the user section, and I can create and update the users without a problem, but the problem is I can apply the administrator role, and I dont want that for this role, it can't access the administrator role, only admins should be able to do that.

I've tried many permissions for the role, but is always showing the admin role in the role list when I'm updating a user, is there a way to hide the admin role from the regular roles list ?

If not the only other option I have is
