This is my opinion

If you require complex integrations and custom business logic in
your form, building a custom module in Liferay may be a better option
than using the built-in Liferay form. While the Liferay form can be
useful for simple form creation, it has its limitations when it comes
to more advanced functionality.

With a custom module, you can build a tailored solution that meets
your specific requirements, integrating with other systems and
databases as needed. This will allow you to have full control over the
form's design and functionality, as well as the ability to add custom
business logic and workflows.

Building a custom module may require development resources and
technical expertise. However, the benefits of having a custom solution
that meets your exact needs may be worth the investment.

It's the choice on how you want it to be scalable since you have
multiple integration
mohammed azam2023-05-04T07:17:33ZQuestion about Liferay Forms: When are they the best choice?Gnaniyar Zubairhttps://liferay.dev/en/c/message_boards/find_message?p_l_id=119785333&messageId=1217646002023-05-03T18:48:48Z2023-05-03T18:48:47Z
Hello everyone, I have a question that requires clarification. It
would be greatly appreciated if someone from the Liferay team could
answer it: When is it appropriate to use Liferay Forms, and when is it not?

We acknowledge that Liferay Forms is an excellent choice and a
powerful tool for creating simple forms with basic fields and
collecting data from customers or leads on the portal. We understand
that Liferay is working to improve the Form Builder.

However, I am currently working on a complex application that
requires multiple validations, integrations, popups, previews, payment
integration, customer review pages, and rich user interfaces. Given
these requirements, I am unsure whether to use Liferay Forms or custom modules.
