If you use a bundle installation and unless you configure anything differently, it will be available on localhost:8080 - substitute localhost with the hostname of your machine (or IP address) if you access from a different machine. Naturally, port 8080 should be open.
If you need port 80 (or 443) I recommend to set up a reverse proxy (e.g. Apache httpd, Nginx or similar) and forward to tomcat/Liferay.
Now that you've already started Liferay as root, several files will be owned by root and not be writeable by any other user, so you can't just start the same installation with another user account without changing the files' ownerships.Olaf Kock2019-11-15T15:51:35ZHow to access liferay as non-root usersachin katarnawarehttps://liferay.dev/en/c/message_boards/find_message?p_l_id=119785333&messageId=1177880542019-11-15T11:22:59Z2019-11-15T11:22:59ZHow to access liferay as non-root user, I have created one user provided root level access to that user, I saw the logs liferay is getting started with no error , even though I am not able to access portal page from brower, opened firewall also, can someon
