There's an ongoing issue with using text-align center to center align an image. It's certainly relating to the IE plugin so testing has got to include Internet Explorer (I dislike IE too). The update to this forum is also making it hard to format text in the messagebord even in Chrome.

When center aligning an image in IE it differs to Chrome, I believe Chrome gets it right whereas IE is applying the incorrect and buggy method of center alignment. It looks like when the line return occurs either the next new paragraph gets the center align also or in this following example the cursor shoots to the bottom of the image within the same paragraph which is center aligned.
I'm not sure but in the first report I think the image may have been aligned in IE and then re-edited in Chrome so Chrome might be perpetuating that center alignment.

Try a range of edits in IE first, then edit that content in a different browser and come back to IE. I think this is the only way to sort out these IE bugs.Lee Jordan2019-05-26T17:03:08ZRE: 7.2 RC3 - Alloy Editor aligns txt centered off centered imagesJohn Cohttps://liferay.dev/en/c/message_boards/find_message?p_l_id=119785333&messageId=1137230532019-05-23T23:59:30Z2019-05-23T23:59:30ZHi Lee, thanks for the feedback.
