This interferes with a downstream platform that we are sending the emails to (redmine, for issue creation). When I compare the portal properties between our instances of 6.2 and 7, I do not see any differences pertaining to stripping and/or fast loading, which suggests something else is responsible for the condensed html.

I also found mention of adding this "com.liferay.portal.servlet.filters.strip.StripFilter=false" to system properties, but that is for 6.2 (not 7) and it is unclear if that would have an overall deleterious impact on server performance, which we certainly want to avoid.

Does anyone know 1) Why this happens in 7 and not 6.2, and 2) if there are any "safe" ways to disable html condensation? For just workflow notifications or for everything?
<
