thank you!

In the section Creating Entry Display Pages for Clarity's Distributor
  Management App Exercise: Creating
the My Application Page there seems to be some missing steps.
As best I can tell from what I have learned in couse, the two sentences:

Select the Collection Display fragment and click Select Collection
    () in
  the configuration side panel.

Go to the Collection Providers tab and
    select Distributor Applications.

should be steps between steps 3 and 4 and should include one more
step of dragging a Collection Display fragement to on the page first.

Second, the picture shows a diffrent Application Details Grid than is
part of the Distributor Application Success Page composition
( it is missing a 4th row for Application Status. When I try to add
that row the only option is to go from 6 Moduels to 12 which leaves 2
rows (4 moduals) blank which looks a little strange since the grid
lines are being used. I am not sure how that is supposed to or would
  be addressed.

Finnaly, mapping the field for the Application Status needs to be
done for all of the fields not just that one.

Again, thank you very much for all the work that has gone into making
these training courses. I am obviously learning, so if I am missing
  something, please let me know.

I’m currently working on implementing custom workflow logic using
Groovy scripts within Liferay, specifically targeting Liferay Objects.
While I’ve reviewed the available documentation, I’m finding it
challenging to locate comprehensive and up-to-date resources that
explain how to effectively write Groovy scripts that interact with
Liferay’s API—particularly when working with custom Objects and
accessing their fields, services, or associated classes.

I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide or direct me to:

Official or recommended documentation for writing Groovy scripts
in the context of Liferay workflows.

Examples or best practices for accessing and manipulating Liferay

how they can be accessed in workflow conditions or actions.

Understanding the permission Model in Liferay (Technically)

I was asked to provide a list of all pages in a site, and show what
permissions each role had on the page. Getting the list of Pages
(aka. Layouts) id fairly easy to do, however, as was the getting of
the Permissions for a page/layout. What was not clear at all, and
what I spent hours looking for was a description of how this all works
technically, so that I could gain access to this from groovy.

Turns out that the Permission actions are the important part, but
they are linked via a bitwise process, to simplify and increase
performance when doing permission checking. THis is not uncommon, but
a simple one liner could've provided this information to me, and saved
me hours of messing around, once I understood this, there was then a
need to develop a specific piece of code to get access to this data.
This seems like a common thing to want to do, so I would guess that
buried somewhere in the Liferay code is exactly this, but, again, it's
not obvious where to even look.

The only clue I could find on this when Googling was: http://www.liferaysavvy.com/2013/02/liferay-permission-system-detailed.html

Which is a really old link, this link does however have two 'Liferay'
links, one of which is no longer available, and the other, that could
be useful, but was no where to be found when searching on Google (This
link also takes an age to load, most people would've navigated away,
but the time it took to load, I nearly did!)
