People were saying that it was a waste of time any money investing in community because most community members weren't going to buy EE license nor subscription. I wanted to prove that creating a successfully open source business is about creating community.

Read the article and take notice of the date when download started increasing. Read Liferay.com news release about when Liferay.com revenue started increasing. Check my profile to find when I joined liferay community.

I'm not sure why Liferay.com is announcing events in Japan in English instead of doing more marketing in Japan. Japanese office was opened this June and not this November too.

I'm not sure why Liferay.com isn't announcing it in their site nor Liferay.com staff posting it in the announcement.
We are going to have an opening event this Friday (Nov.9,2012) and a kickoff Japanese User Group meeting next Wed (Nov.14,2012).
