- given that you're on 6.2 - you should long have demonstrated to make
sure that your backups are worth their money.</p>
<p>In general: Look at your configuration - any changes that you need to
do, specifically so that the new machine serves your traffic, depend a
lot on your own situation.</p>
<p>You'll need to restore:</p>
<ul>
<li>the application server</li>
<li>the database backup</li>
<li>Document Library filesystem (in case you store doclib in the
filesystem, otherwise: whereever you store it)</li>
<li>any code deployed</li>
<li>the full-text index (alternatively: Execute "reindex
all" upon startup)</li></ul>
<p>And, of course, any DNS-settings, network routing etc - that would be environment-dependent.</p>
