Liferay 6.2 Enterprise

I have a need to be able export a single page. The export dialog does allow for configuration of what get exported, and I do see the list of content to select from. But, when I perform the export, the resulting LAR file is over 14k and seems to contain lots of extras.

Is there a way to do this type of export, either using the GUI, or programmatically?
Can the resulting LAR file contain only the single file(I do expect some metadata, etc.)?

Thanks.....Scott...
