    <summary type="html">I&amp;#39;m using Liferay 6.x on Windows XP/7 too. &lt;img alt="emoticon" src="@theme_images_path@/emoticons/smile.gif" &gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Which version of Windows are you using?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I just saw some Oracle in your classpath and just wondered if you were trying to use it. If you haven&amp;#39;t specified any jdbc settings, it should just default to using hsql.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Just to make sure, you don&amp;#39;t have anything else running on port 8080?</summary>

    <summary type="html">From you log, I think you&amp;#39;re trying to install on a Windows instead of on Unix.&lt;br /&gt;Also, are you trying to connect to an Oracle database? Is it up and configured correctly?&lt;br /&gt;Can you startup using the default internal hsql?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;BTW, you probably don&amp;#39;t need the examples and doc folders.</summary>

    <summary type="html">&lt;html&gt;&lt;head&gt;&lt;/head&gt;&lt;body&gt;I tried to build/deploy 6.0.5 sources:&lt;br&gt;Created file app.server.&amp;lt;user&amp;gt;.properties (as described &lt;a href="http://wikis.sun.com/display/websynergy/Building+Liferay+on+Tomcat"&gt;here&lt;/a&gt;), and then run:&lt;br&gt;&lt;em&gt;# ant start&lt;br&gt;# ant deploy&lt;/em&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;The build was successful.
