Hello Mr. Tyron,

Even we are also facing same problem. Did you find the solution ?

We are using local staging and live functionality of
 Liferay 7 with page versioning.

We have added webcontent portlet on a page.

Use case:

1.Content reviewer edit the Published web content

2. Workflow triggered and sent request to editor for submit.

3. Content reviewer 2 , logged in and can edit the webcontent even
though it is in the pending workflow.

We should not allow review to edit the record if it is in pending
status. Please let us know how should we restrict the user to edit the
webcontent added to the pages which is under workflow.

Hi,

I am using Kaleo Workflow in Liferay 6.2 EE SP 14.

I have a workflow definition which has four regular roles:

- Asset creator - has a contributor regular role
- An Editor - has an editor regular role
- A Reviewer - has a reviewer regular role
- A System Administrator - has a System Administrator regular role

As a contributor I am able to edit published content to allow the workflow process to begin again. Upon sending this edited published content to the Editor, I am able to login as another contributor and update these changes using the "save" button. Am I able to disallow contributors from editing content which has a status of "pending"?

Scenario:

Action:
1. Log in as Conntributor2
2. Select pending changes made by Contributor1
3. Make changes to the work pending approval
Now try to save the change
Expected:
Contributor2 must not be able to save any changes.
Actual:
The changes made by Contributor2 are saved.
Please note that the new change is not saved as a new version. It is actually updating the work that is already pending approval.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Thank you,
Tyron
