At first I tried importing pages alone with out permissions and it is successful.<br />Now i am trying to import permissions alone. <br />However enabling liferay logs I noticed the LAR import stops with a message &#34;Extracting manifest file&#34;.<br />Manifest file is around 180MB size. Is there is any limitation with file size??<br />Secondly I see the LAR is uploaded to tomcat and I can see it in temp folder of tomcat.<br /><br />With the above observations is there a way to overcome and import permissions successfully??

My experiences is that LAR imports are very fragile instruments for transferring data between portals.<br /><br />This particular issue seems to point to the size of the LAR being perhaps too large? Can you break it up into smaller pieces?

Hi - I have created a new site and was trying to import a LAR, a LAR with pages and permissions. However import is taking very long time and finally ending up with the below querytimeoutexception.<br /><br />Exception:-<br />caused by: com.liferay.portal.kernel.dao.orm.ORMException: org.hibernate.QueryTimeoutException: Could not execute JDBC batch update<br /><br />Is there a way to increase the database time out value in liferay and get rid of this issue<br />or<br />any other means to successfully import the LAR.<br /><br />Please advise.
