I've seen other people complaining about it in other places. I'm guessing that the chat is broken in the beta right now.

Hello.<br /><br />I&#39;m using the SVN trunk versions of both the Liferay Portal 5.3.0 and the chat portlet. I have a MySQL database after deplyoing the chat portlet for the first time, two tables were created. <br /><br />Everything looks fine, no visible errors (neither in the browser nor the server), except the friends count never goes up. I tried with different strategies in the properties file, signing in users in different browsers. Is there any file I may have missed that needs configuration? Anybody got this combination working? <br /><br />Thanks in advance!
