1. No, of course not.

2. Yes it is safe to use, no problems.

3. No, unfortunately not.

So the only way to change from DXP to CE is through an upgrade of
some kind... You need a newer version of CE than the version of DXP
you have. This might mean you need to upgrade to 7.2 CE if there is no
newer release of 7.1 CE than the 7.1 DXP release you're on.

I think though another option is to do nothing... I mean, you're
passed your EOL support for 7.1 DXP anyway, you might not have to do
any move at all. You won't be able to open tickets or anything, but if
the environment is working fine, then just let it go and it will keep
  doing its thing.

Hi everyone,

I’m currently using Liferay DXP 7.1 (Enterprise
Edition) under a valid subscription. After evaluating our
usage, we’ve decided to transition to Liferay 7.1 CE
to simplify our licensing and move to an open-source model.

I have thoroughly reviewed and confirmed that we do not
use any DXP-exclusive features in our current setup, such
as SAML, Kaleo EE, Adaptive Media, enterprise workflow, or clustering.
We are primarily relying on the base platform and our custom OSGi modules.

I have a few questions regarding the migration:

Are there any official migration steps or tools
provided by Liferay to assist in moving from DXP to CE?

Is it safe to reuse the DXP database with CE, or
are there known issues (e.g., schema differences or orphaned
      module references)?

Are there any recommended ways to identify and clean up
DXP-related configurations or plugins before switching?

I’d appreciate guidance or tips from anyone who has done this
  migration before.

Thanks in advance!
