&lt;p&gt;I am trying to upgrade the database from 6.2 to 7.4 using the Liferay
  Portal DB Upgrade Client.After doing all the configurations and
  running the db_upgrade.bat script, it runs and later gives some
  failure error and then does not connect to telnet gogo shell
  automatically. When I put the command - telnet localhost 11311, it
  gives the failed error below - &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Error - Could not open connection to the host, on port 11311. Connect
  failed.&lt;br /&gt; Initially, it was appearing and connecting to gogo shell
  as expected but suddenly it stopped connecting. Please suggest what
  needs to be done here.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;br /&gt; What I have already done is add this property in
  portal-upgrade-ext.properties - &lt;br /&gt;
  &lt;strong&gt;module.framework.properties.osgi.console=localhost:11311&lt;br /&gt;
    Telnet client is also enabled from Windows. &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</summary>
