<p>i figure it out already..</p>

<p>this happen because of changeable not toggle ON in defaultpasswordpolicy</p>
<p>control panel >> Password Policies >> Default Password Policy</p>
<p>Then click 3 dot at the right to edit</p>
<p>then in password change, turn ON the changeable</p>

<p>I have a problem with forgot password in liferay portal 7.4</p>
<p>Inside portal, when user click Forgot Password link, it will go to
forgot password screen.</p>
<p>Then, user enter the email, solve captcha and press button submit.</p>
<p>Then user received the email. after user click the forgot passord
link inside the email, it will redirect to screen change password.</p>
<p>Then user enter new password and press submit, the error message come
out "Your request failed to complete."</p>
<p>What gappen actually? User insert what ever value in new password,
still that error exist.</p>
