<p>Hi All,</p> <p>I want to integrate JAAS in liferay 7.4 DXP. I have added below properties but post server start up my login fails. </p> <p>1)Server.xml </p> <p>&lt;Realm<br />         className=&quot;org.apache.catalina.realm.JAASRealm&quot;<br />         appName=&quot;PortalRealm&quot;<br />         userClassNames=&quot;com.liferay.portal.kernel.security.jaas.PortalPrincipal&quot;<br />         roleClassNames=&quot;com.liferay.portal.kernel.security.jaas.PortalRole&quot;<br />         useContextClassLoader=&quot;false&quot;<br />      /&gt;</p> <p>2) Added jaas.config file to conf/jaas.config with below property and added config file path to catilina.bat/sh file</p> <p>PortalRealm {<br />     com.liferay.portal.kernel.security.jaas.PortalLoginModule required;<br /> };</p> <p>3) Added below properties to portal-ext.properties file.</p> <p>portal.jaas.enable=true<br /> portal.jaas.auth.type=screenName</p> <p>On portal start up i get com.liferay.portal.kernel.security.jaas.PortalPrincipal and com.liferay.portal.kernel.security.jaas.PortalRole - was not found  in catalina log.</p> <p>Jaas is depricated in 7.4 but Bundled in 7.4. Seems like com.liferay.portal.kernel.security.jaas.PortalPrincipal and com.liferay.portal.kernel.security.jaas.PortalRole are no longer supported/available in liferay 7.4 </p> <p>What exaclty is missing and any pointers to correct jaas configuration in Liferay 7.4 would really help.</p> <p>Thanks &amp; regards,</p> <p>Fayaj </p>
