<p>Run the upgrade script. And follow <a href="https://learn.liferay.com/dxp/latest/en/installation-and-upgrades/upgrading-liferay.html">other upgrade information</a> as well.</p> <p>Just exchanging the ROOT.war by far is not enough. There are <em>lots</em>​​​​​​​ of updated files outside of the bare web application. And, from time to time, you might want to look at your Tomcat's version as well (or whatever appserver you're running)</p>
