  first using a self signed certificate. I followed the instructions in
  the document

  When I open a browser with the url https://localhost:8443, it says, &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;quot;Your connection is not private. Attackers might be trying to
  steal you information from localhost&amp;quot; error. I even tried adding
  the self signed certificate to the user browser settings, but still
  does not work.&lt;/p&gt;
