<p>Just found out in DXP 7.4 U86:</p> <p>Create a site template via Control Panel.</p> <p>Here you can</p> <ul> <li>add a stylebook (set it as default)</li> <li>add a master page (set it as default)</li> </ul> <p>When you now create more sites in this instance, you can choose this site template.</p> <p>When you create new pages in these sites, you can choose the master page you've created in the site template.</p> <p>I'm just starting to learn this myself, but I guess this is it how we can share master pages between sites.</p> <p> <strong>update:</strong>​​​​​​​ to edit the global master page go to site templates and edit the site template via the dots menu.</p> <p>Best regards,<br> ​​​​​​​Gunnar</p>

<p>Hi Everyone,</p> <p>we are creating a portal with quiet a lot of Sites.</p> <p>Almost all of those sites should create the pages in the same way and therefore we thought we could use Master Pages for that.</p> <p>Unfortunately the global site does not allow to create Master Pages, Asset Libraries hold no master pages and there is no way for them to get propagated through a site template once the site has been created.</p> <p> </p> <p>Did I miss something ?
